Cassidy Group have developed 42 affordable family homes on the former Miners Welfare Club site for our client Bromford Housing Association. The development consists of 2,3 and 4 bedroom family homes, 20 of which are for shared ownership and shared equity, the remaining 22 are for rent through UChoose choice based lettings programme. The development has been supported by the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA) through their affordable housing programme.

A ground-breaking ceremony took place in November 2012, in attendance were representatives of North Warwickshire Borough Council, Bromford Housing Association and Cassidy Group.

Gino Siani, Head of Business Development at Bromford Group said "Bromford is delighted to be working with a number of partners to create 42 high quality affordable homes to meet the growing needs of the local community ethos. Not only is this development a brilliant example of partnership working with the Homes and Communities Agency, Cassidy Group and North Warwickshire Borough Council, but it will also help boost employment in the area by creating a number of jobs within the construction industry, something at the heart of the Bromford ethos".

Councillor John Winter (Chair of Housing Sub Committee) said "This is a much needed development to provide houses for local families within Arley on a site that has been derelict for some time and will compliment the surrounding area". This development will show what can be achieved with positive partnership working between all agencies and we look forward to doing many more within the Borough.

James Cassidy said "We are very pleased to be working with the Bromford Group and are proud to be providing high quality sustainable homes built to Code Level 3 to meet the needs of the local community."
